Women who whip men

What if female authority became accepted. All men were expected to respect and obey the women in their lives, and a wife is encouraged to discipline her husband whenever he steps out of line! My guess is that some men would love it, and some would hate it. A similar, (but reversed) situation once existed, where a wife was expected to bow to their husband, and he was legally allowed to beat her if he wanted to do so. Sounds pretty barbaric, but that is history. I just wonder, how would women react to being the whipper, instead of the whippee. At first I think it would take some time to catch on. But then, once they had time to get used to the idea, and talk to other women about it, they would begin to relish the role of disciplinarian! Women might even stage whipping parties, where they would get together and collectively punish any of their husbands or boyfriends who had pissed them off. Comments please! Tell me what you think! How would you feel if your wife or girlfriend had legal authority, and society's encouragement to keep you in line, and she could whip you if she wanted too?
